I talked to a local gym and told them I was thinking of getting certified with nesta and the owner said she is really looking for a pt. this town is small so there isnt many. She said I would have to carry my on liability though. Anyone know how much this would cost per month or year? Shes going to call me on monday after she researches nesta. Im pretty sure if I get certified the job is a go. Can someone help? Thanks bros

umm not sure for a pt. never actually quoted that proffession before. usually a general liabilty policy runs between 300-600 a year.

For how much liability? Personally i wouldn't get it. The owner sounds like she is throwing off the liability on you. If someone at her gym decides to sue over injury it is the gym they will sue most likely not you. The only thing i would do is make up a warning contract on your wordprocessor stating that if they injure themselves under your training that you are not responsible the gym is, and make them sign it and make a copy and give it to them before you start training them. It is the gyms responsibility to have their equiptment in good working order, and have a safe working environment for their clients, not yours. Sounds like she is damn cheap, or maybe she has no insurance for this type of occurance, and that would be stupid on her part.

well u can make just as much money in auto sales. the big difference is the free time, u guys have to be there alot to make money, and work the night and weekend hours that i dread working. i come and go as i please which i love. it can be stressful but what job isn't, expecially a sales job. mortgages imo is still in the same boat as auto. u need to constantly work to keep making good money. mortage brokers and real estate brokers are my main source of leads. i like to network vs workin the phones and cold calling etc...with P&C insurance i get paid again everytime the customer renews with me. another thing i do on the side is real estate investing. i'm still new to it but its a great way to make big bucks and be able to do it on your own time.
