      I need some help with a low sodium diet. Every thing a pickup at the grocery store has 250mg of sodium in it. What are you guys eating?

      250MG OF SODIUM PER SERVING ISNT MUCH.I THINK I READ SOMEWHERE THAT 2500MG OF SODIUM A DAY IS NORMAL

      If you don't eat many canned foods or microwave meals you should eliminate a good bit of it.

      I don't eat any canned or microwave meals. It sounds like my diet is not that bad. I'm going to cut the red meat and eat only chicken and fish. I got to get my blood pressure down some how.

      The processed foods, canned foods, etc. are high in sodium. I'm very conscious of my salt intake, especially in the summertime as I feel I bloat/swell more. I rarely use salt on my food and increase my water intake also.
