Tweethes an olde english bulldogge hes a breed thats coming back hes 3/4 english and 1/4 american bulldog this breed has lost alots of the effects that the english.
Tweetthat is really young to have a pup away from the mom
Tweetmy buddy just got an american bulldog and it is stout as hell. i guess i was wrong about byron being black in the other post, haha.
TweetExactly what i was thinking Merc. Not trying to sound insensitive here ByRon, but alot of time these "breeders" will sell pups just to get the money faster, before the pups are ready to be taken from their mothers or weaned. Just not humane to the animals. I think this one should have waited longer.Originally Posted by Merc
Tweetmick he was eating food before i took him i went to look at an american bulldog and fell in love with this one, i have made sure he is eating very and i am also giving him a multi vitamin gel that has extra protein and other things in it! hes eating very good i have been keeping a VERY close watch and the breeder told me if i had any problems to bring him back and we would put him back with his mom but no problems yet he goes to the vet next week to make sure he is growing well and get his 6 week shots!
Tweetalso the reason the breeder let me take him ws because the mother had alreay weaned the pups and was staying out side where the pups could barely get to her!
TweetA few notes on bulldogs, and this is only cause I have read several books. I have 2 american pitbulls. It is better to get the puppy around 5 weeks so it doesn't have to fight for its food, it also doesn't get as aggressive as if it was to stay around all the puppies. By 5 weeks all the nutrients the mom gives the puppies to help the imune system to keep alot of the diseases away isn't strong enough, so getting them away from all the pups are good, really good if the breeder doesn't keep a clean area for the dogs to stay. But it all depends on what type of dog you are getting.
