Test Cycle and Natural Supression

TweetHi Guys- I'm wondering what you guys think about his other thread.
Basically this guy is asying that Test for a first cycle (or any cycle really) will cause a greater degree of shutdown and be harder to recover from, and he is saying to NOT run test for a first cycle. This is th efirst time I have heard/read anything like this. Pretty much every suggested first cycle I have come across is recommended a test only cycle. I'd appreciate any of your thoughts on this. Thanks!

SUPRESSION is not static--there are varying DEGREES of suppression that are dose and chemical dependent. The amount of testosterone the body produces while on a TEST/DECCA cycle, is FAAAR LESS then the amount the body produces while on Winstrol, EQ, Var, or Primo--Even d-bol. However, the difference is that these other compounds don't stimulate libido like test does, so YES, while on cycle you will have some sexual difficulties in the absence of TEST. However, it will be far easier to recover from a cycle WITHOUT test than with one.....This..is a FACT.

Does this guy realize that all steroids are derived from testosterone and just altered to give a better anabolic to andrgonic ratio. All steroids will supress you, supression is gonna be effected more by LENGTH AND DOSAGES then it will be product in most cases, there may be different degrees of suppression but they arent gonna be so distant from each other that it is gonna cause this great effect this dude is talking about, length and dosage is gonna be the factor. Go run deca for 12 weeks by itself and then run test for 12 weeks by itself and see which one is harder to recover from, so there goes his theory. Man that fucking post enrages me.....when people post outrageous things like this they really need to have some concrete evidence to back it up.

TweetThe average male produces somewhere around 70 mg of natural Test a week. You can see why taking 500+ mg of Test a week will give phenomenal gains. Test should also be a base for "almost" any cycle, for other compounds work synergystically with it.

TweetLogically speaking, what he is saying makes sense. So I understand his point. The only problem is he is completely wrong and if he were to test his theory scientifically, he would see that. Therefore, he didn't really accomplish anything other than making himself sound like an idiot.

Tweetyeah, scientifically what he says has no basis whatsoever. But i guess if you have no knowledge of endocrinology it might make sense, it's just ludicrous.

I like the way he says it's easier to recover from a cycle with test and it's a FACT. Where is the studies to back that up I wonder. I do believe there are varying levels of suppression, but some of the derivatives are even harder than Test, IN MY OPINION. Who knows, hopefully he enjoys his opinion and can pawn it off to his cronies in the gym.

Having your HPTA "supressed" simply means that the system is shut down and the body is no longer producing testosterone on it's own.

Where the difference lays is how long you have been supressed for. The longer the supression, the harder the recovery.

Correct, I was oversimplifying. Some drugs lead to longer recovery times, ie "more suppression"
