TweetSaw it last night... it was good fight
TweetIt was the best crowd pleaser ever, but it was kind of uninteresting for me. They sure beat the hell out of each other though. I enjoyed seeing Shamerock getting TKO'ed. The middleweight fight was very good. They all have some very good skills. It will be interesting to see how far they go with their careers.
Tweeti agree to an extent. but the blood lust in me screamed in pleasure everytime one of those blows landed hard.Originally Posted by HungarianBeast
shammy almost had it. i was also glad to see that arogant asshole get whupped but he was very respectful in defeat.
Tweetwhy was it uninteresting? Are you talking about the Bonnar/Griffin fight?
TweetYes...Originally Posted by SUGARBABY
The fight was completely one dimentional. They both just stayed up and "boxed." After the first 2 minutes in the first round, they were tired. They did not have the power for a knockout. So, it was just throwing bombs for the remaining 13 minutes. I like to see more going on in a fight. There were no takedown attempts. They did fall a few times, but nothing happend there. There were maybe 4 kicks in all. Nothing happening when they tied up on their feet.
From the crowd's point of view though, it was pleasing.
TweetYeah he looks like he has potential ! I saw bit and parts of it.Originally Posted by T-Man007

TweetIt was good, short, but good. It looked like everything Shamrock tried he was ready for, everything. Even the ankle lock failed and as soon as Franklin got up he came around with a foot to Shamrock's head. He's quick. He's smart too. Has a degree in mathmatics and a masters degree in education. That's the wave of the new "ultimate" fighter. It's not just balls to the wall anymore, it's precise timing and disiciplined attacks. It's makes for a much better sport I think.
