I couldn't believe my cats had killed something...
TweetSo I was all dressed and about to leave the house when I was walking through the living room. There, in the middle of the floor, were three of my cats hovering around an inatimate object. The lights were off in the room but I could see the cats were pawing at it's lifeless little body. I could barely make out it's shape, but it looked like a curled up ground hog.
I "shooshed" the cats away and went to get a plastic bag to pick it up in....The room was still dark so I didn't dare go close to it with my bare hands. I slipped the plastic bag over my hands and nudged the little critter.
It wasn't alive anymore....
In fact, it was my extra lean steak that I had cooked for lunch today!
They had dragged it out of the pan into the kitchen....damn cats!
