Mach 3's are going up in price like crazy and between shaving my face and my head I go through a new one eod.

Who uses electric and what kind is best for close shave without knicking you all up.

I don't use electric, I use mach 3 as well, why are those things so costly? It takes me about 2 weeks to wear one out.

I don't know but even at Sam's Clube they are $1.50 each +/-. Two weeks? No way, you must have soft facial hair. Mine is coarse as hell. And then add to that my whole head everyday and you have a dull razor fast. At best I can get three shaves with one blade, but the third day hurts like a mofo and leaves my face irritated.

i use a panasonic one... have been using it for 5 years now... it's got 3 shaving blades on top... it's great for every day use... if ur going out or so, use the mach3, no electric shaver can beat that...
but like i said for every day use it's perfect... i paid almost 300 for it 5 years ago... now they got even better ones...
also it's appareantly the fastest shaver out there... which helps too...

Noelco for me works the best. They have many different kinds, chargable, or corded. I also use a razor, but it seems the razor balde companies want to only have them work for a few days. I can remember about two yrs ago i could get a Schick to last me two wks, not anymore, lol!

Well, homies in the streets are out of the question where I live. There are no neighborhoods like that in Colorado Springs. I'd have to go to Denver to find those neighborhoods.

      Summary report:

I got the new Braun 8585 with all the bells and whistles. After about one week I have to say this thing shaves closer than my Mach III and NO knicks at all. The thing is smooth and it's self cleaning. No I can quit going through 3 baldes a week, not to mention the the shaving cream.

Me either, until this one and I've used about 10 different ones in my life. It's not one of those three head rotating ones, it's one of the longer double blade ones that go back and forth (I think that what they do). All I know is this razor rocks.

But, the main reason I got this one was all the hype (commercials) and the 30 day 100% money back gurantee. If I no likey, then I get my money back. Sounds like a win-win. Also, there wasn't any other razors with a 30 day money back guarantee. Atleast I didn't see any.

How much did you end up paying? I might have to buy some for CHristmas presents.
