  • injection time

it seems like it takes me a lot longer to do glutes then quads.
i am shooting 2.5ccs with each stick.
I always cramp up or get so tired from shooting Glutes, its a workout in its self. and when i do my quad i can feel the muscle except or not want the fluid, with the glute i just push to get it done. also my glutes bleed more from the stick.
i dont know where im going with this im just sharing my experience.

    Re: injection time

I inject glutes about 4 inches below the kidney area, with a 1.5" needle and rotate the area. I find a 23guage works best. 25 guage is just to slow and hard to push in. Just take the skin around injection site and stretch it to make it taunt. Take needle and just push it in don't screw around going slow. After injection, pull the needle out fast at the same time releasing the skin. I have very little if no bleeding or leakage this way.

      Re: injection time

I dont do glute injects anymore. They seem akward. Plus when I was gaining muscle I never bothered to stretch...I really cant reach back there without fucking up my lower back. Quads are a breeze, and one of the only injects you can easily use both hands. 1.5 25 gauge works well.

        Re: injection time

I have the wifey do it when I go in the glutes, I simply can't get it where it actually needs to be injected now that I'm bigger. When I first started I could do it myself just fine.

          Re: injection time

Weidest thing happened to me today. I was injecting into the glute and did the normal routine. Stick it in, pull back and check for blood then push it in. Well while pulling the plunger back, I pulled it completely out of the syringe. I quicky put it back before any fluid started leaking. It was just weird, I've never done that before. Oh and quad injections are a lot better. I will only do those from now on.
