Doesn't it just make you want to GAG, when they are shoveling food down there ever loven throat!. My wife and I went to a China Buffet today. The nicest one I have ever been to. They set us down by some , let me refraze that. They set us down by not 1 but by 4 rather large people. And they didn't go back 1 time, they went back 4 times, and it wasn't for fruit. They was still eating when we left. I undestand some people being over weight, but if it takes you 4 plates to make you realize you have a problem, then do something about it. Like maybe it 2 plates of food, save some for others!!!! Errrrrrr

Yea it's sick. I truely feel bad for people who suffer from hypothyroidism. But, people who are glutons are just plain lazy and have no self respect. This whole "I'm happy with who I am" is total crap. There is no way you can be happy if you are tha big.

I used to work with this one chick who was pushing 300 easy at like 5'6". Every phukin day she would get 2 hot dogs with the works and then wash it down with a Diet Coke. WTF??? At this point the Diet Coke is worthless.

i think i know that chick...we got one here that runs around telling eveyone how to eat, becouse she claims she lost 10lbs this month. nothing kills me more than when this 300lb hefer tries telling me why I "dont need those carbs". its like, o.k. piglet, go strap another pork roast to your face.......oh, and dont forget the diet coke remember, your on a diet!

LMAOL. Yea, and or the overweight nutritionist who tells you how to eat. I have a rule about taking health adivce. I don't take it from anyone who is in worse shape than me.

This is exactly the reason I do not eat at buffets.

Man it pisses me off. There's this nice chinease buffet in town.. But it's freaking expensive due to these individuals who camp there for 3hours and eat more food than I would in 4 visits. These individuals tend to not only be very disgusting, but also very rude. I nearly got thrown into the sweet and sour pork, because some heffer pushed her way in thinking I was going to take the last few deep fried prawns. And to hear them complain at the end of the meal. "They ran out of xxx... I don't think we should have to pay full price". Makes my jaw drop! I want to say "With the amout you ate, they should charge you double!"

AOM - that is just foul.

I don't eat at buffets because the food is usually terrible or greasy - or both! And buffet places are not the cleanest of establishments.

well there is no reason for people to be nasty bastards in public. but as far as people being extremely over weight, i do feel bad. imagine you had an addiction but instead of being able to cut that "drug" completely out of your life you had to monitor your use FOREVER. try doing that to a heroin addict and see how well they recover. what does really piss me off is the bad eating habits that are past on todays kids simply cause the parents are lazy. especially the girls. when high school gets out these girls walk around with belly shirts on and the fat just hangs out. and they are not obese they just grew up thinking mcdonalds 5 times a week is ok.

Fat kids are almost always a reflection of fat parents, or parents who do not take good care of their children.

Jesus... this is a typical diet for alot of kids:

Breakfast: Sugar cereal (Lucky Charms)
Morning snack: Chips/chocolate bar/candy
Lunch: pizza and soda
afternoon snack: Couple of pizza pops and another can of soda.
Dinner: MAYBE the 1 healthy meal. But often it's takeout or something pre-prepared and fatty.
Evening: More junk food.

Now combine this with the fact that all the kid does is watch TV or play videogames. And do we really wonder why kids are so fat?

When I was a kid, we rarely got soda and mom rarely kept any sweets in the house. It was a battle to get mom to buy the "Honey Nut" cheerio's instead of the plain. Peanut butter on toast was a treat. We were forced to play outside for AT LEAST a couple of hours a day. Often all day on the weekends. And we still wern't skinny kids.. not fat either..just average.

same here GG. not crappy cereal. no soda. treats were given to us on occasion...thats it. and i was always outside runnin around. me thats where i wanted to be, too boring in the house. riding bikes...kickball.. wiffle ball. catching animals or building things

My mother was the same way. There were no snacks, unless you wanted an apple. Want something to drink? Two choices - milk and water. What's in my lunch? How about low-fat lunchmeat on a whole grain bun, and applesauce or grapes. And for dinner? Bet your ass it is either chicken or fish with a side of veggies, and maybe rice. Haha! If you're bored you better go outside or grab a book - but don't even think about sitting in front of the tv during the day.

We complained a little back then, but I am so happy that my mom was the way she was.
