      or does high def tv come in even better than a dvd. i just got a high def box for my wide screen. HOLY SHIT is it clear. i watched 2 boring shows last night just cause of the picture

      Depends on the dvd player and the cables you run...normally hdtv is alot better than the standard dvd player and its run of the mill hookups. Try running fiber optic rca's and such, its pretty impressive...even better than s video.
