TweetDon't know about the "true" story thing. Achilies was real and Hector was real but I believe the Greeks have inflated the story of the centuries. However, there is no way to know for sure. Great movie though.

TweetI have it for tonight when i get off work...i heard it was pretty darn good.
Tweetits good nate and long..but i like a movie like this one and it needed to be long!
TweetGood Movie, thought it should be called Achilles though not Troy. Lol. Ending did suck.
TweetDitto, all the good ones are long like Braveheart and Gladiator. The only one I wont go see is Alexander. If it dies in the theater with that much publicity then I wond even waste 5 bones on the rental. Plus, I heard there is a lot of homosexual acts and I don't any interest in paying to see that.Originally Posted by space mountain
TweetWell i watched it and i liked it alot. The ending was way to dramatic and predictable so i agree with you guys. The batttle seens where great, everytime they panned out and showed the armies on the beach i was in awe, truly amazed. It added alot of insight to how they went about war, i enjoyed it immensly.
One thing i would like to know, WHO THE HELL is that massive MO FO in the first fight seen? the bald dude....He was one impressive monster...I will do whatever it takes to look like him...my new goal in life.
TweetI'll have to check it out, I been wanting to see it............Hey space mtn.!!
Tweetwhat up sven! yea id like to know myself who that big bro was!
TweetYeah not sure about it being real either. I remember from greek mythology that Achilles was half mortal and half god? Not sure but something like that and that his mom tried to burn his mortal half by hanging him by his heel over some speacial water or something and it made him weak in that area (aka Achilles tendon). But anyways the Greeks over exaggerated a bunch of things so who knows. Plus this was part of Homer's Illiad book was it not? But Those city's did exist and Hector was real.Originally Posted by T-Man007
