Ok i know its the wrong forum but i just wana share this with my AS ***** buddies lol

Do u guys really think flat bench helps to put some mass on ur chest? i did them for a year and half first thing in the chest day and my chest my worst body part... i started doin inclines and dips and flys only for a while now and honestly i havent ever seen my chest look fuller than now... now i dunno if its cause im on my first cycle or its the incline dblz and barbell thats doin this...

what do u guys think? why do they keep sayin to do flat bench when it was almost useless forme...

i dont do bench either...it sux...a lot of the weight is handled by the shoulders and it may mess with your rotator cup...i do incline flys and pullovers....works for me...however im trying to get my chest up and i cant seem to accomplish it...are there any other exercises besides incline d-bells and incline flys?

bro have u Seen blood and guts ? in that movie yates does incline barbells and his form is whats so impressing... he does it with really nice and slow negatives and 2 sec with control movment and then goes up faster...

I think incline barbell and dblz and flys are the best IMO, but some matchines are also good to do once a while to finish things up... but one thing i dont understand is why trainers constantly tell people to do flat bench... i even heard its as important as doin squats for legs is to do flat bench for chest..

if i do flat i do db's. i only do flat once in a while to max out and that hasn't been for a year....i don't feel it works as well as other things. incline is by far the best IMO

im moving away from flat bench. ive hit my sticky point, i can't seem to increase the weight or the reps ...everything else however is improving (incline db presses, fly's and dips)

what are you bros gonna use to replace your flat bench ... flat db press or what?

I was gettin any big results doin flat bench, just big weights.
Now, I do incline barbell, then incline dumbell. Then I'll cable flies and dips.
I focus on upper chest. Genitically, its caved in, so i have to target it more.

I also noticed a big difference when I switched to doing incline first instead of bench. Now, about 2/3 of the time I do it this way. It take a few times to get used to being burnt out when you switch to bench - can be a little hard on the ego - but it's the results that count, right?

Decline works the biggest majority of your chest. I just put it back in the rotation and I tellya, I got SORE!

I still do flat bench b/c to me its one of the staple exercises like deadlifts and squats. But I rotate the order of my chest workout more then I used to. I start incline one week, but flat the next, then Ill do declin and incline, and so on. I have always been a bit disapointed with my chest, but now that I started this type schedual, its finally coming up.

Switch to dumbell bench for a while. Just do heavy db. I saw great gains when I switched. Got bigger and stronger.

according to men's health incline works the biggest majority of your chest if you set the bench at 30ish deg.

yep...anything higher than that, IMO, works too much shoulders. And if you're like me, you don't need any more rotator cuff problems.

I agree with Big Guns, traditional decline will work the most of the pectorals!

This may be kinda silly, but why do powerlifters arch into an almost decline looking position? Well..it incorporates the lats more yes, but also the pecs.

I dont really do incline at all. Proper form on flat or decline bench is all you need IMO. Many say that flat hurt their sholders. Ill tell you what though, get perfect form and it shouldnt. Incline will though. Most wont agree with me on that..but oh well

Incline for me but I still incorporate DB flat bench...starting to get the feel back for the decline in the cage.
