PLacebo effect?
TweetOK, I don't mean taking water pills or injecting sesame oil thinking its steriods...
but has anyone noticed a placebo effect from taking steriods? Aside from the actual real physical effects, before they really impact you....maybe in the first week your workouts feel better, you are in a better frame of mind, slightly more in tune with what you are doing,maybe push a lil harder than usual(even if its really hard normally) and have you noticed it bleed over into other things you do?
I noticed that with work, and just house chores in general I am chippy and cheery and more focused...I even smile brushing my teeth and goes as far as to diligently wash behind the ole ears.

TweetI started my cycle yesterday and totally agree with you. My workout yesterday was super intense, I feel better all around, and it makes me even more dilligent about my diet, training, water intake, etc. I just think there is a lot of synergy at play when you cycle.

The brain is a power thing - it has been proven time and time again. This is why double blind studies came into play - b/c of the placebo effect.
