TweetWhen the night is over I will finally sing
To God be the glory for he had the final say
He held back the waves that roared over my soul
The mountains he commanded down with a thunderous roll
Whe my foundation was shaken by the enemies tempest storm
On Christ the solid rock I stood, his strength would carry me on
The enemy asked my Lord if he could sift my soul as wheat
The Lord said as you ask but I'll give her power when she is weak
In the night seasons I cry out to the one who keeps me under his wing
Even during the dark times my Lord gives me a song to sing
I will praise my Lord for he is the way the truth and the life
His light will shine forth in the night so ultimately victory is mine....
