TweetMatthew 7:13-14
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
TweetBasicly states that the worldly way leads to hell and wide is the path (many will pass through).
Narrow is the path (Fewer will pass) to eternal life (Heaven)

TweetThat the way I understand it also, I remember as a new Christian the Church I was going to would use this as a way to get people to try and work for their salvation. You need to do good things to maintain your salvation or you'd go to hell.
How come you haven't posted a daily verse in a while?
