Although, your bi's could probably be done 2x a week as well as calfs if you really wanted. Bi's are suppose to be one of the fastest recovering parts in your body and i know alot of people that do calfs two times a week (including me now) and are seeing great results.
Just depends on who you are too though.

calves abs and bis are about the only things I would train 2X a week. although gear does increase your recovery time its still better to do slightly too little than over train

BUT, the key is intensity. You need to DESTROY each bodypart when you work it once a week. Train like you've never trained before, then let it rest for 6 days.
