      What are some good movements for the lower back and sides(luv handles.)

      I like Good Mornings for the lower back. As far as the luv handles, liposuction bro j/k, try doing bicycles (its an ab exercise that also works the obliques).

      For the obliques I like doing swiss ball exercises with a medicine ball (help with a partner is essential). With the lower back exercises I do core stabilizing drills that my buddy showed me while he was in human kinetics...along with the lower back aparatus that you hold a plate to your chest and do lower back dips with (I apoligize for not knowing the name).

      Thanks for the advise bros. Idid some back extensions and good mornings with my normal back routine last night .Damn I feel like I am having kidney failure. The good morning are hell but I like em.

      set up like you are going to squat. then as you push your ass back with a slight knee bend lean your upper body forward until you are approximately paralell to the floor or slightly above...stand back up with the weight and you have just done 1 rep. If done properly they are great for low back, hammys, and glutes. we do singles with 400+ lbs and know guys who do gms in the 600+ lbs range. great lift! you can also do them suspended in chains...so you actually start the lift in the bottom position...my favorite. If you are still unsure of how to do them, go to www.elitefitnesssystems.com and check out the exercise index...it will show you pictures of gms.

      Deadlifts are the lower back king. Roman chair sit ups and oblique twists are good, but the only way to ditch love handles is to lower your BF%.

      Damn Ironman...I was trying to get my name on the whole training forum! Now I have to make this worthless post! Also...dont spend 735 bucks on a machine. Buy a bar and some weights at a garage sale...deadlift your way to an enormous back for like 50 bucks. Spend the other 700 on food and juice!
