i was helpin my neighbor trim some big limbs on his trees
Tweetwe were out there with a chain saw and ropes. one big limb went over his roof. he decided that rather than cut it in little pieces he was gonna cut it all at once just use his truck to pull it away from the roof. you see where this is going dont you.
he tied it to his trailer hitch and drove until the limb was pulled out from the roof.
he then got on the roof leaning out to the tree and started cutting. he was about 3/4 of the way thru when it snapped back hitting him. it knocked him backward onto the roof chainsaw in hand going full speed. there is a big gash in the roof through the shingles and tore up the gutter where the chainsaw hit before it stopped. he has a huge bruise on his right shoulder and chest where the branch hit him.
i tried to tell him but he wouldnt listen.

Tweeti dont know how to trim trees but i did know this was a bad idea. i just took him to the ER and dropped him off, i left when his wife got there. he was havin pain breathing. they did an xray while i was there and the good news is he dosnt have any broken bones and his lungs are clear. doc said he probably is just suffering from the effects of the trauma to his chest and it will disipate with time. i will get more info when i go visit later. and he is damn lucky he didnt hack off an arm or chop his face up.
he laughed and said it sure would have been better to take the extra 15 minutes to cut little sections off. i didnt tell him "i told you so"

he is home now he has a HUGE bruise on his right shoulder. he is OK the doctor reccomended he not do that anymore! LOL
he is old enough to be my father i was pretty worried since i moved in we have been good friends and he is not in the best of health.

TweetLast year my dad and brother decided to cut down this big pine tree in my back yard. I was upstairs filming the action with my new video camara because I just knew something was going to happen. As they were cutting it down the thing started to fall over the wrong way and landed right in our pool. Big ass splash and it was funny to have it on tape.
