I never had that. I had to fend for myself, raised in a single parent home.
TweetI miss it sometime..
Then I remember how much it sucked to have to ride my bike everywhere. And school...EUCH.. I hope to never sit in a classroom again! The rest of school was fun...just the learning and homework sucked..
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.
Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.

TweetIf I could be 19 again, I'd do it.
A full adult in the eyes of the law(in Canada), but everyone still expects you to act like a jackass punk and doesn't expect anything out of you.

TweetOH I miss youth - but Colorao -- I did not come from a single home but one that had both parents working -- of whcih one was drunk all the time and other trying not to be a parent and never home.
I was the oldest of three -- took care of the young'ens and never really had a childhood per se-- kinda hard when at 15 the local bar asks you to come get your own parent.
Anyway -- I do miss being younger -- and missing all the things that I caught onto later -- like advice. I also miss that I could not get a grip of who I was ....
...like has been said -- I would go back and wished that I knew what I know or believe now.
But I do miss being younger in the sense --taht now at almost 44, I have soo much on my plate -- and have complicated my life all on my own. Wished I kept it simple.
Jack: we are all ducking and diving like a boxer trying to hang on to a title.....

TweetThanks Jack...did not mean to go off on a tangent but even given how hard it was -- I would love to go back..and do it differently and be a little more secure with myself.
But I suppose all things considered...each and every experience EACH of us has...becomes threads...and the threads bind together to make up the fabric of who were are today.
Good lord -- my Nyquil is kicking in already.
