how fast have u gone in a car or bike?

TweetWell it was a 1999 GSXR1000 with a few mods. It was not my bike and we (my buddy had a 99'gsxr600) wound them completely out for a good maybe 2-3 miles.
I remember I kept shifting up a few times before i realized, Oh I am in top gear..rev limiters do save engines
of course it was pretty stupid and that is for the track nowadays.
So however fast a 99 GSXR1000 goes. I never looked down to see. maybe 178...

TweetBoth tach. & mph needles are snapped on the bike and 140 in the vette. I baby both, trying to keep the valve train going for a looong time. Maintenance is just way too expensive.

Burried the speedo on a kal, kzr1100, out ran 5 state troopers, took off through the country after I lost em to my sisters house, put the bike in my sitsters shed, that thing was pinging & popping when I shut it off. I was shaking like a leaf. Left it there for a month & traded it off. Another guy had one just like it, but he was a puss. Every time he got his out after I did that he got pulled over
