ok as many of you know im on roughly 100mg TNE ed. 50mg 2x per day along with 75mg NPP. usually short estered drugs are associated with low estrogen levels (example: Test Prop vs. Test Enanthate). Now TNE or test suspension is generally regarded as giving lots of water retention (im not holding ANY right now and im not on anti-e's). why would this happen though? would bodenone base also promote water retention? i just dont see how Test Prop wouldnt give you much water, but Test Base would.

I've always attributed water retention to estrogen levels caused by the steroids, NOT the actual steroid.

Try looking at it from that angle.

yeah, but if you ask someone what form of test promotes the least water weight, everyone will say PROP. the only difference between prop and enantate is the ester... so i was just making the assumption that the ester may be the deciding factor.

I know that's what everyone says... but it makes no medical sence. The ester itself does not react with your body. And test is test...no matter what the ester.

Maybe it has something to do with the rate in which your blood hormones change? Or how long your estrogen levels have been elevated? Blameing it on the ester just doesn't make any sence.

yeah i totally agree that blamin it on the ester doesnt make sense.. it was simply the easiest conclusion i could come to.

I understand bro... your left asking "Well WTF do I blame it on?"

Personally, I've never noticed more or less water retention caused by a particular test ester. And until I do.. I'm not sure if I buy the whole theory that different esters cause more or less water retention.
