my lastyears landlord had a dog.. don't know what u call the kind but it was white and small and had hair.. no fur..... and it was shedding like a mofo.. hair all over the place... then one day i noticed he was putting some drops he got from his vet into his food.. anyways, few days after the shedding slowed down a lot... the next few weeks we didn't need to vacuum the house more than like once a week..... however once he ran out of the dropps, the dog went back to his normal shedding business....
have no clue what the drops were called, but i know for sure that there is something u can do about it.... (i don't know about permanent solutions tho)

She has no "fur" persay but like hair.

I checked out those drops, they are mostly just omega-3 and 6, which make sence. I may add a little olive oil to her food and see if that helps.

I have been a dog owner all my life and basically there is nothing you can do about it. As mentioned earlier, brushing daily is about the only thing that can help. I just realize that I do indeed have to vacuum daily/EOD.

Now there are some breeds that just do NOT shed, but your's aint one

Crap man. I though a pitt/rottie wouldnt shed much.

And to the person that said Lab...grrr its not a lab Everyone thinks she is one untill she barks or growls. Good thing though, I wouldnt have found a house to rent if I couldnt pass her off as an English Lab.

The two parent were both full with papers though. She was an "accident".

Yeah I hear you on the hair. I have a collie/shep mix and a anatolian shep/lab mix -- trust me HAIR EVERYWHERE!

The best thing is really to brush them EVERYDAY and bathe them everyother week.

Adding olive oil to a piece of bread or their food only makes them healthier and their coats shiny.

It is a natural process for them to shed..they need to do it. Anything that claims to help -- only helps the pockets of those who sell it.

There are some dogs that are shedless dogs -- but if you love your pup like we love ours -- it is just something you get used to or put up with.

I have mostly hardwood floors in my house -- and everyother day I am picking up puppy tumbleweeds!

From what I have read, it is bad to bathe them much more than 2x a year because it removes the oils on their skin that they need for whatever reason. My vet told me the same.

Ya Ill put up with it, I put up with all the other shit like barking, chasing the cat, eating drywall, etc...

I had a TimberWolf/Akita once. It was very bad at shedding. It wigged out though and I had to get rid of her.

      Billy!
My doggie looks just like yours but mine IS a lab~

Mine slowly built up a coat over the fall soOo naturally she's going to shed it because she's not outside for long enough stretches of time to maintain it.

I have a lil small powered vacuum cleaner I use for the shades, drapes & kitchen floor.
I run over the kitchen floor daily so she gets vacuumed at the same time She likes it though..
