Tweetmy dad is a dermo. and thinks that old benzoil peroxide is really the only decent over the counter med.
I use rubbing alcohol and then benzoil a few times a day... it has gotten better, but not great.
TweetI just get it bad around my neck and shoulders. Its not that bad, but like i said, my GF is *****in about it. I have dry skin so the alcohol is a bad idea for me. I need something for sensative skin.

Tweetaccutane is the way to go to cistic-severe acne, I use it cos I get acne even that iīm all natural, accutane must be taken for a 5 month period cycle, depending on ur weight...
Iīve been on it for 3 cycles... i cycled it once and rsted for 4 months but acne showed up again , so I took it once again, good results but after 4.5 months acne showed up again.
Right now Im starting a diferent aproach, I take 10 capsules in 10 days and then go with eod intake, that way i can stay clear for longer periods of time, seems to work ok.
the only sides i get are dry lips and face, but that's when a good moisture cream comes in hand and gycerine .petroleum based for the lips.
no other sides that i can report.
just remember to drink a lot of water and to keep away from the sun on ur face.
Iīll try the b5 protocol once i finish a 5 month cylce of accutane.
trust me that shit works.

Hydrogen peroxide is not as drying as alcohol -- you need to disinfect the area. Crank is right about Cetaphil. If you find the liquid too hard to manage for shoulders and neck - try the bar but I do not find it as effective.
Make sure you shower immediately after working out. Try to wash you clothes without too much detergent or if you can, a mild one for your shirts like Ivory Snow for the time being.
Benzoyl Peroxide is great -- but can stain your clothing. If you can get an antiobiotic --either oral such as tetracycline or minoccyline (and there are others) or a topical antiobiotic such as cleocin -- those will help as well.
Clinique makes a good Beta hydroxy acne line using salicylic acid which helps exfoliate dead skin cells.
Accutane SHOULD BE USED WITH CAUTION and never during or near a cycle. It is excessively liver toxic. While it is very effective but harmful while on cycle.
Tweethydrogen peroxide makes my skin itch something terrible......
accutanes side effects are almost worse than acne.
TweetI've used benzamycin (a prescription topical) and tetracycline in the past and both worked really well.
Tweetright now i dont have health insurance but the acne on my shoulders is pretty nasty, what would u reccomend?
TweetI SAY GO WITH TANING, ORAL sulfas // antibiotics
if it does not work then go with accutane, it is not as bad as some might say
Iīve been on that shit for so long...
itīs a miracle drug, ance literaly disapears.

Tweetthere's pantothenic acid also.
Tweetit works Crank but for most mega high doses. Halo (member here and mod at WCB) goes as high as 8,000mg a day! I only see relief at 1,000 or 1,500 a day.Originally posted by Crankin'steiN
Did that actually work for you?? Cause it never did a hell of a lot for me....
Tweeti have had luck with a bar of soap that contains tea tree oil and moisturizers.
TweetPantothenic acid did not work for me, even at 5 grams a day. I have also tried tanning, all sorts of face washes, creams, and moisterizers with no luck. Benzoyl peroxide (Clearasil) was the only thing that worked for me. But then it stopped working and I started getting cystic acne all over. I figured out that it was from my diet, which was high in red meat and poultry. I cut that out of my diet and started eating fresh fruit and vegetables and the acne has cleared. Check the internet for "diet and acne" and you will see what foods are bad for your acne. I religiously will get a couple of new pimples 2-3 days after I eat a nice steak or some greasy food, it happens everytime.
