Alright I know now I should'nt have done this but I gave blood when Red Cross came to my school and ever sence I have been so week. Im talking walking up the stairs and getting dizzy weak. Before I gave blood I was totally pumped up and ready to pound out set after set, and getting great strength gains. I gave the blood on the 7th week of 500mg/week test enan and 400/week EQ. It has now been 4 days after giving blood and I still feel like shit, im thinking about cutting this cycle off prematurely because my BP is 160/89 and my energy drive has just droped off. I know it was a stupid thing to do but does anybody know how long it will take me to get the Red Blood Cells back? Is there anyway I can help maximize production of RBCs? I am happy with the results, I gained 15lbs so far and weigh 200lbs at 5'10" and am 23 years old.

Im eating as much as I can at least 6 times a day. Im eating alot of carbs and have been trying to eat more red meat. I am guessing about 230 grams protein a day and 500 carbs a day. I have been takeing flax oil for good fats and always cook with canola or Olive oil. Just tried to go to the park and run this morning and could'nt do it, just feel like everything is blurry. I think I may try takeing some ALC.

Giving blood while on cycle is a very bad idea. You have probably induced blood loss anemia. Go to the doctor.

Is it possible that you have gotten a cold/flu or some type of infection? It sounds like a coincidence to me. Giving blood should not make you feel like this unless you were anemic previous to giving the blood. I gave blood and worked out in the same and noticed no difference.

Johnn B is right...your RBC count should be up. Even up so much that you should be able to give blood without a significant change. Is there any thing else that is out of the ordinary for your routine that could cause this?

All the symptoms that you are experiencing point directly to anemia.

It seems logical to assume that because your red blood cell count is increased when on steroids, you can afford to give even more blood, but it doesn’t quite work that way.

      Here’s why:

Iron in the body is recycled; it is not used and excreted. When red blood cells die, the iron in them is returned to the bone marrow where it will be used again when new red blood cells are made. A large or rapid loss of iron will only occur when blood is lost from the body. When you are on steroids and your RBC is high, a large portion of the body’s iron will be in circulation – not in storage. Giving blood while on cycle can cause a dangerous loss of iron in the body, which can be referred to as blood loss anemia, or iron deficiency anemia. I believe that this is what happened in this case.

Depending on how severe the induced anemia is, you may be able to resolve the problem with supplemental iron, but keep in mind that your body may need iron to be replenished faster than you can absorb it.

There are too many different variables involved to say that A will always lead to B, or B will always lead to C, but blood loss anemia is likely what happened.

IMO, taking a trip to the doctor is the smartest thing to do.

I am going to the doc's tomorrow and will get a CBC. I have had CBC's done a few years ago and he never said anything about anemia. I do take my multivitamins every day and I get them from Symmetry Direct and I have been taking an iron pill also.

Thanks for the input drenten I will make sure I keep taking the iron, It seems now every time after I work out about 30min after I get so weak I don't even feel like walking up the stairs where as before I would just run up the stair with a surplus of energy. This is a bunch of crap and Im so close to finishing my cycle. I think I might have to stop my cycle early, every time I inject It makes me feel worse. very weak and dizzy, never felt like that before.

Well Ill find out tomorrow and let you guys know. thanks
