Hey everyone, I just got a quick question, wondering if anyone has had the same issue.

I used to weigh like 225 (I'm 6' tall, I was fat), then I lost weight and went down to 185. I looked unhealthy here but since then I've put on some muscle and my body at least look sa bit more proportional.

However, people are saying my face is too skinny or something, I don't see it but a couple people said it. They said it looks like I'm starving myself.

Any idea on this? Right now I'm like maybe upper 12%bf range, and I really want to get down to like 9-10%, but at the same time I dont want people to think I am a skeleton.

Anyone else run into something like this?

      Thanks!

      M.

The weight (number) doesn't matter. Go with how you look.

It depends what you are doing. If you are trying to make a weight for a sport then it is obviously important. If you are just doing this for yourself then figure set your goals and don't worry about what others say as long as you don't look like Jack-o he looks just like skeletor.

if the people who said that have known you for a while, thats the reason they said that. they are probably comparing you to when you were bigger.

I got down real lean a few years back and yes I looked terribly thin in the face.
I was in my mid-thirties then which had a lot to do with it. I look better face wise obove 10% BF. Genetics mostly probably. I was also heavy when I was a kid.
      Feel ya.

what's wrong with looking thin in the face, i think it looks better then having a chip munk cheeks and a turkey neck, don't you agree?
