PCT and Anavar
TweetMy husband started his PCT yesterday and wants to know if taking 20-30mg of Anavar/day will interfer with it. I thought that the whole point of PCT was to recover from being "on". On the other hand, Anavar is easy on the liver and....hmmmm, I thought I read somewhere that var doesn't shut down natural testosterone production in men, is this so? I've heard of guys using var (or what ever) to "bridge" cycles but I really don't know anything about it. Opinions Please!

TweetIt is not "easy" on the liver unless taken in very small dosages like 10-20 mg/day. And at those dosages, you might as well throw it in the trash. Just do the PCT and hit it again in about 10 weeks. Patience Grasshopper...

Ok, maybe not that extreme, but he does not need the anavar. Do you "bodybuild"?? If so, take the anavar away from him and keep it for yourself. It does a womans body good.

TweetI convinced him not to take the var. He's already lost like 9 lbs since his cycle ended and he's a little depressed about it. That and the fact that he can't get a pump and feels weak. He's not a happy camper.

BTW, proviron can be run during PCT without suppressing the HPTA. It is an excellent anticatabolic an hardener. It won't hurt his labido any either, LOL.

TweetHis pct is like this -17 days after the last shot of EQ - 300 mg Clomid 1 day, 100 mg Clomid next 10 days, 50 mg Clomid next 10 days. Also, 40 mg Nolvadex for 10 days (also starting 17 days after last shot of EQ), then 20 mg/day for the next 10.
He didn't have much bloat...but the cycle was pretty light
Weeks 1-6 30 mg D-Bol ED
Weeks 1-10 200 mg EQ E5D
Weeks 8-10 100 mg Prop E3D.
Gained 16 lbs. From 170 to 186 (190 at his heaviest but was 186 about a week after his last shot). He's down to 177 already.

I also agree with limiting the var to 10. But really, he should just stop and concentrate on his PCT, and like the others stated, check that diet. He didnt stop creatine at the same time did he? Assuming he was taking that as well.
