TweetI just got my gear the other day to start a new cycle, I did a 400mg shot of cypionate, I think I pushed the plunger a little fast. Everything was fine until the next day a knot from hell popped up on my shot area. Next day turned red and became hot and very painful. I tried heating pads, hot tub of water, nothing helped. Ended up going to the clinic, I told them I gave myself a B-12 shot and moved the pin around too much. They gave me a shot of steroids, and gave me little pack of the kind you take and some anti-biotics...It was my first injection for this new cycle. I done gear many times, but that was my first bad pop. Supposed to be good gear, it is GT. I got to go back sunday to see if it needs to be drained. Should I wait to finish?

TweetPushing in the gear too much isn't going to give you an infection.

Improper injection preperation, bad gear, or just poor luck will give you an infection.

Personally, I'd invest in a 10ml syringe, a few extra vials, and a couple of 25mm whatman filters. I'd then filter all of my gear into the extra sterile vials.

TweetGG is right, did you inject with the same pin you drew with, or forget to swab the top of the vial or the injection site with alcohol? or just plain dirty gear. there are numerous ways you get infected but not injecting too fast you cant inject too fast with oil based gear and 23 or smaller ga pin to cause real probs.

Make sure everything is clean, put you shit on a clean table, inject into a clean ass, and swab the vial and swab your ass every inject!
