TweetMan, double J, seems like your plate is full buddy! Glad it wasn't a stroke, that's how I lost my Grandfather is a series of them.
TweetSince I moved back to my home area this spring I have been caring for my mother in a wheelchair(polio) and my Grandmother(87 w/strokes).
So I checked on my Grandmother a usual yesterday morning and her speech was WAY bad! Slurred and incoherent.
I spent all morning talking to my two uncles and my mother about it looks like shes had another small stroke. What do you want to do???
I recommend either immediate doc appt or go to the ER.
My mother and her two brothers spent all morning checkin out what I had ALREADY told them.
Finially I had to go to the gym to meet my son as he got out of school, and since no one could make up their mind as to what to do I left for the gym.
I no sooner walk into the gym and the phone is for me!!!
My uncles want me run right back home and take Grandma to the ER.
I tried all morning to get them to do this.
So I tell them of course I will....as soon as I'm done!
Since no one thought it was urgent all morning when I tried to talk them into this, either they go get her and I'll meet them there shortly or I'd get her in an hour.
Funny....They thought she could wait an hour instead of taking her themselves
I spent from4:30 to 1:30 in the morning last night at the ER until they finially got her in a room.
Luckily it does'nt look to have been a stroke, whew.
Family,ERRR
Thanks for letting me vent a little, DJ
