ive been lifting for about 4 years on and off. the reason its been on and off is because of injuries. every few months i will either tear or pull something in my chest. im planning my first cycle and im still unsure on what to use. is there an AS that might give me less chance of straining a muscle while on? Deca? dbol?

is your form on??? maybe you should pay more attention to form detail if you're getting injured that frequently...i know deca is good for joint pain, haven't heard anyone say it helps with muscle strains

bro, that must be your form. Or your age, maybe...if you're getting on a bit. Maybe you shouldn't be doing flyes if you don't have the forarm strength to control the bells on the downward. That's all I can think of. Do machine benchs you'll have more control to prevent sudden movements which might be causing the tears. Are you on any meds that weaken tendons?

my form is on. ive talked/worked with trainers in the past and they dont know whats going on. ive always seen doctors and they have no idea either. the pain usually comes 1-2 days after the workout. i feel perfectly fine while im lifting. and the pain is unusual. i can put pressure on all of my chest muscles without pain. i feel the pain while im simply standing or lying down. its more of a naggin pain rather than a shooting pain.

the only drug that ive been on consistenly is ibuprofin for my back (i have a genetic inflamatory disease in my lower back/pevis area).

DOING GEAR INCREASES THE CHANCE OF YOU DAMAGING SOMETHING WHILE ON. DECA WILL MASK THE INJURY ,NOT PREVENT OR CURE IT.

There's more danger in getting hooked on painkillers than using AAS for joint protection. 100mgs of deca/week is the therapeutic dose for those aches and pains.

Totally agree with the guys. YOu should reassess your form. Also go for less weight for a couple of weeks and try to stay with freeweight/compound excersizes to strengthen your smaller muscle groups.
As far as AAS and muscle injuries, none is really better than another (deca is supposed to be good for joints while winny is not) but a good deal of prof atheletes take some low dose AAS during rehab to strengthen muscles and heal faster. The important thing if youre doing that is to stick with low weights. Some of your muscles can handle it but not all while youre injured.
