TweetTHIS NEW GIRL I HAVE BEEN TALKING TO....I HAVE KNOWN HER FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS. ANYWAY, EVERY TIME I GO TO HER HOUSE HER CAT MEOWS AT ME AND SITS BY HIS BOWL FOR FOOD. I KEEP ASKING HER, DO YOU EVER FEED THIS CAT?? SHE SAYS YES...BUT EVERY TIME IM OVER THERE THE CAT ACTS LIKE HES STARVING.
I POURED A HUGE AMOUNT OF FOOD IN HIS BOWL THE NIGHT BEFORE LAST AND EVEN LAST NIGHT. SHE TOLD ME THAT HE DIDNT NEED ANY MORE FOOD. WELL THE CAT TOLD ME THAT HE DID!! HE WAS MEOWING LIKE CRAZY.
I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THE GIRL CRYING, SHE JUST GOT HOME AND FOUND THE CAT BLOATED AND DEAD!! CAN A CAT EAT TOO MUCH AND KILL ITSELF??

really bro i dont think cats can eat themselves to death anymore than you or i. i am no kitty doc but if they are not eating a high quality food, ash in the food can cause little crystals to form in their urinary tract and cause them not to beable to urinate which causes their kidneys to fail and then death. but it usually takes a couple of days.
