Great body, shitty sense of well being. It made me feel lighheaded, and not recommended for novices unless you've done your homework.

All it does is gets rid of water and it is a very hard diuretic to time properly...there are better choices in my opinion like Dyazide & Aldactazide...XXL

You'll start noticing them working on day...going the bathroom often! You have to drink alot of water though and eat alot of potassium too lasix can cause cramps!
But like I said before...it only lasts till your done, and also not a safe diuretic to use!

I disagree about eating a lot of potassium since it's a potassium sparing diuretic. Excess potassium would lead cardiac arrest since potassium and magnesium are responsible for muscle contractions. The heart is a muscle too lest we forget and its inability to contract and pump blood could lead to a near if not fatal accident.

i thought that lack of potassium while using diuretics is what could cause cardiac arrest if anything wouldn't potassium and magnesium help hold the water in the muscle while the excess water is flushed out?

Remember Mike Matarazzo when he had an accident with diuretics back in 1993. He took a potassium-sparing diuretics and was told to take potassium pills with it to flush out excess water. He was rushed to the hospital soon after that and almost died. Yes you are correct about ptassium and magnesium being responsible for holding water, that's what I pointed out to BJ. Below is some info on lasix.

      Loop Diuretics

Loop Diuretics are short acting and are the most powerful diuretics. Examples include Lasix(furosemide) and its analogs such as bumetanide and peritanide. These drugs are similar to the thiazides but are quantitatively greater in effect. Though, drugs from this family are similar to thiazides it causes a more profound loss of calcium and massive changes in fluid balance. Low calcium levels lead to mucle tetany where the muscles feel locked and cramped in a contracted position and could even tear away from the bone. Because the loop diretics cause indiscriminate losses of all electrolytes, every dangerous situation associated with lower levels of any one substance is a possibility. Because these agents act so swiftly and powerfully, affecting all electrolytes either directly or indirectly, extremely low BP often occurs. When left unchecked this can lead to blood volume to the point of circulatory collapse. This is another reason why precontest BBers should maintain a high sodium intake.

Lasix is not potassium sparing. Aldactone and Dyazide are.
