Tweetagreed, I have several obese members in my family. It is an addiction like any other...sex, drugs, alcohol. Wasn't making putting anyone down, I felt miserable just being 30 pounds overweight. I think you might have taken my post the wrong way.........

Tweetwhewwww, didn't want you to think I was heartless (even though become mentally judgemental at times). My dad is about 80-100 punds overweight for as long as I can remeber. It has caused him numerous health problems and I fear for his life sometimes. I have seen him lose 70 only to gain back 80. I never see him overeat....it is when nobody is around. I found out through a nationally renound psychologist that adult children of alcoholics are often food addicts. I have an aunt that was almost 400 (had to be)....but never liked her because she was a loonatic even when she was petite
