TweetThere's nothing worse than a snotty doctor's receptionist who
insists you tell her what is wrong in a room full of other patients. I know you all have experienced this, and here's the way one old guy handled it.
An 86-year-old man walked into a crowded doctor's office. As he
approached the desk, the receptionist said, "Yes sir, what are you
seeing the doctor for today?"
"There's something wrong with my penis," he replied.
The receptionist became irritated and said, "You shouldn't come into a crowded office and say things like that."
"Why not? You asked me what was wrong and I told you," he said.
The receptionist replied, "You've obviously caused some
embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear or something and then discussed the problem further with the doctor in private."
The man walked out, waited several minutes and then re-entered. The receptionist smiled smugly and asked,"Yes?"
"There's something wrong with my ear," he stated.
The receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice. "And what is wrong with your ear, sir?"
"I can't piss out of it," the man replied.
The doctor's office erupted in laughter.

TweetIf you need to get a snack & drink.. you better do it now
Wellll this is how the story goes..
About 3 Christmas' ago, a friend of mine who volunteers at a senior citizen's late care facility, came down with the flu.
She was out of her mind with worry that all of her elderly friends weren't going to have anyone visiting them for the holidays.
SoOo I got a call from her & to be honest, I tried to talk my way out of doing her 'time', but I owed her & she was extremely upset over it.
It changed my life.
There are times that end up staying far longer than I should.. because I'm so engrossed in stories from the past.
The history some of the men are able to recite from wars & their experiences could never be told as well in text.
There are so many funny stories I could tell..
There was this one guy Gus who would actually eat his dinner because I came to visit him *lol*
I got the nic 'Gus' gal' because he would put a tie on when I came to visit... over his nightie top.
I almost didn't return when he passed away.. you get too emotionally attached. He was such a gentleman, a true gentleman.
Anyway.. it's sad that so many people are left alone by their families when they become ill. I suppose it's hard to see a loved one in that situation, but it would mean so much if they would visit.
It was nice of you to go cheer them up!
Tweetaww, your such a sweetie Sachet. I was only 14 when I was doing it, but I had to stop because my family moved
