I find it hard to get in enough calories in a day and eating more than three meals a day. I don't have that kind of time. Diet: In the morning breakfast oatmeal about 2 cups, banana and two scoops protein shake about 60gms . Lunch tuna another protien shake same 60gms protien. Larger dinner chicken breast, salad, rice brown, hot veggie beans or mixed. Oh, and water. Later at night maybe tin of chicken or tuna and pita bread wheat. Supplements multi-vitamin, flax, ala 500mg, bee pollen, geens powered 1 teaspoon, 1 amino acids. Thats it. Anyway I know this is probably not enough in calories per day, but what can I do to increase protien and cals to makeup for lost meals. I'm 5'7 1/2" and 175lbs 44yrs. I also have a problem w/ bloat in lower stomach area? Is weight gainer products good to use to increase extra calories? Sorry about all the questions, but just started a cycle of test cyp 600mg wk, eq 400mg wk and proviron 25mg-50mg ed. liqua-dex 25mcg ed.

That doesn't seem like much food mick. And I would quit using protein shakes as part of a meal. For breakfast have 6 or 8 egg whites and 1-2 whole eggs, that should be a substantial amount of protein for that meal, and then you can throw in a scoop of whey too, I just add a glass of skim milf for 8 more grams. Use the shakes for inbetween meals when you don't have time to eat, and for right after a workout. Remember that protein shakes are a nutritional "supplement" and that's what we should use them for.

poor diet is a lack of poor planning. If you have to carry around a lunch box and cook all your food on Sundays, then so be it.

What about the weight gainer products. I do weight 175, but I would like to buildup the top area and not add weight to the bottom. I will add the eggs, but I have a bit of high colst. so I will just add one yolk. Between the three meals that I do have, its hard to get more food in, as my work is fast pased and I don't have time for alot of going to resturants. I don't sencerely know how alot of people get in 6-8 meals a day? How do they fit this in with work?

Trust me bro I know how hard it can be because my job is crazy. However, I take a lunch that's makes 2 meals and some protein to work everyday. Get used to carrying food and protein with you. Get a shaker bottle and some protein that blends easy, Optimum's ON ion exchanged imo is the easiest and taste great too. Weight gainer shakes are fine but they have to be blended, so if you don't mind taking a handheld blender to work that's fine too. I need to gain some weight too, and from time to time I go up 5 or 10 lbs. naturally and this is the way I do it. But even when I just try to stay cut up like I am now I still carry healthy foods and protein with me to work ed.

Also remember that 6-8 meals is not usually 6-8 sit down cooked meals. It usually consists of 2-3 meal replacements and maybe a snack with them.

BUy some meal replacement bars....blend shakes in the morning and bring them to work in a container......make sandwiches.....it's really not all that tough....as long as your job has a place for you to store this stuff....like a fridge. Yes...weight gainers would be a good choice for you. Also...unless you're working 20 hrs a day....you should have plenty of time after work to get in meals. If you're having problems at work..you should be eating every 2 hours after work then.

as was said, proper planning is essential. you have to plan ahead. this is a lifestyle.

commercial gainers are full of sugar. making your own would be a better choice.
Do you know where one builds action, stamina and guts? In the gym under the iron day after day, forever without fail or excuses or grumbling, that’s where. It’s true. I read a study somewhere and that’s what it said, really.

There’d be fewer battles, less drugs and less crime and more happy moms and dads if we all lifted weights… let’s face it. In what recent medical journal was I reading that?

.....the basics need to be lifted high in this age of retarded new wave info. dave draper

Its very hard when you don't have time. I have several business meeting during the day, on top of supervising all reps in my region. I guess I will have to eat big breakfast and lunch. Maybe bring some quick snacks, as I don't have time for all these breaks in my day. There is no way I can do 6-8 meals.

As SB, said, BUY SOME DAMN PROTEIN BARS!! That's an easy 300 calories right there. 2 or 3 of those throughout the day would be a really easy way to boost your caloric intake.
