TweetTo the Stang it looks like. Oh well, always something huh
Tweeti dont drive my mustang too often because it needs alot of work i have had it since highschool (i graduated in 87) i drove it today to work after finally getting its new tags and inspected after 2 years of never leaving my neighborhood. i let her warm up and nailed it. now i have a knocking sound in my baby. sounds like a rod. the motor has about 50,000 hard miles on it and hundreds of pounds of juice run through it. i dont have the money to rebuild it now so i guess it will set again. poor baby anybody got a spare 351 c?

TweetDon't you mean 351windsor? It'd be a ***** to put a Cleveland in it if it's a 79-93, and you can make way more power with a windsor these days! Sorry to hear brutha. I usually keep a short block or two, but don't have one Ford motor anymore!

windsor nope its a 1970 stang. i could put a 428 in it if i wanted thats the biggest FE motor that would fit. i built the motor and put it in in 1990. its a 1970 block 71 heads with 2.04 1.74 valves. crower valve springs the machine work was done by plubell racing in garland. all ARP harware trw forged pistons comp 292 cam svo forged crank, clevite 77 bearings. it was bullet proof but 55,000 miles and 14 hard years and hundreds of pounds of juice later i guess she was tired. the car is looking rough i really need to restore it but i dont have the $.

TweetCool, the Mustang I got right now is the only one I've ever had that I didn't put a nitrous kit on. I kept one nitrous kit and used it on 8 different cars, but finally sold it.
I guess I like my cars, and my body to have plenty of juice in em'!hehe

TweetWell Jipped,
You should be able to get a 351C junkyard engine for cheap. They havn't been used for years. And BTW, if you can fit a 428, there's no reason you can't fit a 460.
If you need any mustang advice, lemme know. As you already know, I recently restored my 70.
RIP BigJim33 & GearedUp: You are sorely missed my friends.
Hindsight is always 20/20. But looking back it's still a bit fuzzy.
