Tweetnever have and never will........
TweetThe only sources i know require payment by western union, evocash, or moneygram. i believe all of these require you to identify yourself with your real name in order to send money. I know its safer for sources to conduct business this way, but i would never feel comfortable giving out my real name to a source.
Does this bother anyone besides me? Do you guys feel safe giving out your real name?
Tweetwonrt send it that way myself
TweetFrom what I've been told, it's pretty easy to send money using a flase name, etc. But then your SOL if you need to cancel or get your money back (Do you have ID mister Hugh McCock?)

TweetGot Gear. which service are you refering to? western union?
TweetI don't like giving my real name either, its too easy not to anyways.
TweetTwix. its not that easy for everyone.
TweetThat is not true.
You don't have to give your real name sending Western Union.
I've done it so many times and never gave my real name.
A source doesn't care what name you put on the money transfer as long as he knows who it is coming from (and what it is so he can collect $) and then he can send the package to the right address (all he cares to know is the wire number MTCN).

TweetIVE COME ACROSS ONLY 1 SITE THAT I ORDERED FROM AND SENT THEM WESTERN UNION. THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND A LONG TIME AND LEGIT. I GOT LUCKY I GUESS. ASKED FOR REFS AND GOT THEM. VERY DISCREET PACKAGING.

TweetI use WU all the time. Real name, fake address. They don't check Id under $1000 so they can't prove it was you anyway. Besides, if they catch you with gear they don't need your WU slip to prove it is yours, and if they don't catch you with the gear, a WU slip doesn't prove shit.
As was said, the biggest ***** is the fees.
TweetIt's got it's drawbacks tho as well. What happens if your envelope goes missing? UPS isn't gonna refund your cash. Or what if the guy gets busted and isn't picking up his packages? With WU you can cancel, with cash you gotta ask the guy to send it back.Originally posted by motogear
Cash in a envelope is so much easier.

there is also more of a chance of a source getting busted with cash in a envelope IMO.

I know most overseas people I know of ask for western union. Seems safer then cash IMO, a buddy of mine sends stuff western union all the time no id required, but they are low amounts, under 1k.
TweetSend the cash with something like a birthday, anniversary, or other "occasion" card. Write a little note like, "happy (whatever). Enjoy!"... see my point.
