TweetJust picked it up the morning. its a 1999 yamaha Vstar custom 1100. Seems pretty nice so far. I dont know a thing about bikes, but always wanted one, so i figured now was as good a time as any. The only thing i dont really like about it is the skull on the side.
TweetNice bike lxorl. If you don't like the shull just have something bad ass airbrushed on it.
Tweetit has a little dent on top of the tank, at some point i will probably have it filled in and painted over. most likely a solid color. but I can deal with it for now.

Tweetlooks good bro that is a trick air cleaner. i also like the spokes they are hard to keep clean but they look good. i go to bike rallys frequently and look for cheap airbrush guys there. ask for a portfolio of their work
Tweetsweet bro have fun
TweetI have been having problems with it today... it seems like i flooded the engine. I was having problems getting it started and warmed up, so i kept starting it and reving it. It was running fine yesterday when the shop warmed it up for me. So im hoping i just flooded it messing with the choke.
I parked it in a lot next to my house to chill for a few. going back soon to see if i can drive it home. How frustrating !!
TweetWelcome to the world of 2-wheels bro!
I highly recommend you take the Riders Safety Course. You will learn a lot and can also get a reduced insurance rate.
Also, if you don't already have your license, when you graduate the course, you will have it then.
Good luck and feel free to ask me anything if you have any questions/need advice! Too bad you moved from Maryland...we could have rode together.... oh well, Florida is much better in the winter for riding anyway
