TweetGo with the 1 1/2"

TweetHey guys...I usually get 21 guage, 1.5" to inject into my glutes. I get my pins and syringes for free from my best friend who works at a pharmacy. He just told me that he can only get 22 guage in 1.5" or 21 guage in 1". I'm afraid that if I get the 22 guage, it'll be tough to draw up the juice, so I told him to get the 21 guage, 1". 1" should be good enough to inject into the glutes right? I know it's cutting it close, but I think it should be good, no?
I bend but I do not break.
TweetUnless you're a big fat ass you don't really need 1.5 inchers for your glutes. It'd be better but 1 inchers are just fine.

Tweet22's are not that bad for drawing. Thats typically what I use. Personally I would stick with the 1.5", I like to make sure its in there nice and deep.
TweetI draw with 20's or 22's, and shoot with 25g EVERYWHERE. 1 1/2" for glutes, 1" everywhere else.
TweetIt's not the guage I'm worried about. I don't find drawing with 21 guage to be tough at all...as long as you create that vacuum in the vial, it seems easy for me. I just realized I have enough 1.5" left over, so I'll just draw with the 1" he just got me, and inject with the 1.5". I shoulda thought of that before...either way, I still don't think it would be that bad injecting the glutes with a 1". But anyway......
I bend but I do not break.
Tweetyou would be fine, provided you dont have a load of fat in the in the spot you want to inject, the goal with any IM injection is to sink it into the muscle, if you can do that, it doesnt matter what you do it with.

TweetWhy in gods name would you use a 21 to inject when there are better alternatives. Can you get bigger gauge needles for free too?

TweetI am glad I used a 23g 1.5" for a while because now with some scar tissue I can pull the needle slightly out if in scar tissue and still be deep in the muscle If I go the whole 1.5" in some spots I cant even push the gear out of the pin pull the pin out 1/8 or 1/4 " and the juice flows great..
I dont care if it kills me... as long as I look good in the box
Tweetget the 1 1/2 inch
TweetI use 1 1/2 but I've used 1 in before and it works fine too if you don't have a lot of fat.
TweetI can basically get what's in stock. I'm using the 1" to draw, and saving the 1.5" to inject.Originally posted by smalls

What's wrong with 21 guage? I don't mind it....I find it draws the juice easily, and I don't find it harmful to inject either.

TweetI just personally think you would be better off using that to draw and a 25g to inject. Less scar tissue and forces you to inject slower. If you plan to be in this game a long time you may want to switch just to reduce scar tissue.
