TweetI wouldn't risk it. Anyways after 4-5 weeks you'll become resistant to it and it won't have any muscle gaining effects. The whole point is to cycle on and off to prevent become insluin resistant which may result in become diabetic.
Tweetif one was to use 5iu of slin post workout 4-5 days a week could you stay on indefinately? i have heard of guys on for six months without a break using 10-15 iu ed. i dont even want to chance becoming diabetic. i know the best way is not to use slin but since i am...........

TweetThe average healthy person at a healthy weight produces between 18 and 40 units per day or about 0.2 to 0.5 IU/kg of body weight per day. About half that is released normally and the other half is in response to food. Remember...this is for an average healthy person who eats about three fair sized meals a day.
The point is....5 units of insulin can fall in the normal range of insulin production (produced naturally by the body)....so it would be really pointless to supress your own insulin with about the same amount it would normally produce.

Tweethave you guys ever heard of anyone become diabetic from BB slin use, no matter how irresponsible, anywhere on the boards?

Tweeti have not, i'd like to think that even the biggest abusers (guilty) would not stray from the rules when it comes to slin.
TweetI haven't. Not sure how it works. Wether you can get diabetes from insulin abuse pretty much right away.....or if it takes a year...or even years. I have no clue and would actually like to know myself. I've looked through so many published articles on insulin abuse and haven't found ANYTHING about it potential making a non-diabetic become diabetic. If it can....I'd love to see some good info because I've always wondered about this.

Tweetmy freind stay on 6 mths at the time he is trying to get pro card and he is not dibetic
TweetEven if you used it twice a day (humil-R)....it would only be active for a total of about 8 hours. The rest of the time your body is producing it naturally. I think you could use it for a long period of time and not become diabetic. However I believe there are other health concerns with high insulin levels.
