My hair is already shedding.. For reasons unknown to me..

I'm still young.. My dad has a full head of hair in his late fourtys.

I did a cycle of winny and test about 2-3 months ago

Someone suggested its an effect from the winny after the fact.

Im now on test prop for just under 2 weeks making solid gains, up 11 pounds. But i want to add an oral preferably var but im low on cash. So i was thinking winny.. But what do you guys think?

      Help - J

you need to star up the proscar and maybe get a topical anti-androgen right away if you want to keep your hair.

Also, how does your grandfathers hair on your mothers side look?

Topical anti-androgens such as spironolactone, fluridil, or RU48851 are your best bet in combating possible hairloss from winny. It'd also be wise to start up ********/proscar/finasteride if you're losing your hair. It may take up to a year to see a cessation of hairloss, but it does slow down loss considerably for the majority that do use it. Be aware that you may notice some increased shedding. It's just accelerating the hair-growth process and those hairs would've fallen out anyways. Hopefully, if you're a responder they'll grow back thicker and fuller.

Nizoral shampoo would also be a good addition. I only use it once per week now as it was irritating my scalp (the other days I use Head & Shoulders dry scalp care with pyrithione zinc---it works really well---no more itching/flaking/irritation). You could also add minoxidil to the mix and possibly get a little re-growth.

Remember it's always easier to keep the hair you have than to try to regrow it once it's disappeared.

      Good luck

Your hairloss now is from the DHT conversion ifrom test, no doubt about it. nizoral and spiro are probably your best bets for topical anti-androgens. Check out the "hairloss section" for more info and hookups with the nizoral guy.

Winny could possibly make things worse, but everyone is different. some people shed on test and winny does nothing to them. SOme people test does nothing and winny makes them shed. It all depends on the person.

why dont you like the idea of take finasteride??? Post up stuff youve read where it says its bad if you could.....

Unless you've already got that bald man horseshoe thing going, I wouldn't use it. Why complicate things?

Proscar is far from horrible, people who say that usually havent used it and dont understand how beneficial it can be.

I would not use winny if hair was even the slightest issue.
