Tweetright. It acts as an uncoupler in mitochondria correct?
More calories being used to produce heat?
But its similar to T3 as its a universal energy source utilizer right? Uses Protein, Carbs and Fat all at the same rate?
'What Nurishes Me; Destroys Me'
TweetNO!
DNP is not a universal source utilizer. It only uses stored fat as energy after it has depleted the stored glycogen in the muscle cells. It makes the production of ATP inside the muscle cells (mitochondria) inefficiant and requires additional fuel (stored fat) to produce energy. It does not use muscle cells (protien) for fuel.

TweetMUCH BIGGER,
While I peronally agree with the protein comment for the most part, many will disagree. It hasn't been proven either way.
Also, why do you say that it burns glycogen before fat? If this were true, your workouts would greatly suffer while on DNP. It would be the same as doing a no carb diet. I don't find this to be the case.
IMHO, DNP burns almost all fat.
Tweeti dotn know much about DNP but i am trying to find more info on it...i know it is very dangerous if used incorectly.
what is its real use? ( not BBr's losing fat)
what class of drug is it ..?
also can you make it from anyhting legal?
thanks tiny
Stuck in the Desert.
TweetI don't use any other energy boosters besides an ECA when dieting.
Seriously though, my workouts suffer at the same rate that they do on a restricted calorie diet without DNP. When I do the no carb thing, my weights drop DRAMATICALLY. This doesn't seem to happen with DNP and a restricted diet.
Maybe I should mention I always use DNP while on juice?

DNP originally was used for many purposes:
1) As a Pool Chemical
2) To make Dynamite
3) as a pesticide which literally cooked bugs from the inside out
Dan Duchaine was the first to mention its use for burning Fat in BB's.
It is very dangerous if used improperly. It dehydrates the body and tricks the body into thinking it is "Not Thirsty" this is the reason I believe when people use it they feel drained/ lack of energy. I think they are being dehydrated too fast and not even realizing it.
Take too much and your body temp will sky rocket and you will be looking at your friends and family from a coffin. Actually, they will be looking at you in the coffin.
Educate yourself real well before messing around with this stuff.
TweetANOTHER,
Let me clearify.
DNP causes a mild to moderate amount of water retention to occur in the joints and muscles which actually my help your workout in some ways. This excess water is shed after several days after you have discontinued DNP use. It resembles a low dbol dose IMO.
The Glycogen statement is that the stored glycogen in a muscle cell is readily availible for use (energy). Stored fat (fat cells) are called into play after all glycogen sources have been used up. It is recommended that a person carb depleats 2-3 days prior to using DNP in order to call upon the stored fat quicker.

TweetThe chemical we know as DNP was originally used as an ingrediant in blasting caps for TNT (late 1800's) Dan Duchaine was a few years too late since in the 1920's it was used as an ingrediant in a diet pill which was found to cause cataracs in women. The US government made it illegal for it to be used in Human grade consumables. It is now used as an industrial dye and in a few pesticides.Originally posted by AceDaBoss

TweetHey Much, sorry to bring up this old post. I'm on DNP right now. When I started I was on a keto diet and stayed on it for the first week of the DNP cycle. I had read that after you started you were supposed to shift the micronutrients ratio to 70% carbs. Would it make DNP more efficient if I went back to a ketonic diet now? I just don't seem to see the pounds coming off and It's hard to believe that it's all water weight... Oh and yes I'm hot and sweat day and night...Originally posted by MUCH BIGGER
