i am thinking of trying this diet plan that was given to me by this bodybuilder .he's 5'9" 238lbs. to me it sounds like someone would put on a whole lot of fat .Plus how healthy can the sat fat from the red meat be . i am 5'8" 180 lbs
how long would you try a diet before evaluating it ????

      here the plan :

      8 egg whites

      9 am : 1.5 chicken breasts
1 cup of white rice(long grain)

      12 pm : 220 g (1/2 pound) of lean ground beef
      2 baked potatoes
      1 cup veggies

      3 pm : 2 nutrigrain bars
      protein shake

6 pm : 220g(1/2 pound) lean ground beef or
      1.5 chicken breast or
1 salmon steak( only once a week) or
8 oz fillet mignon ( only twice a week)
and 1 cup of white rice (long grain)

      9 pm : protein shake
      8 egg whites
2 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches

please go ahead and post your best bulk diet

that diet looks ok for him since he weighs so much. You didnt give his body fat percentage so im not so sure. There are a few things i would ditch/modify if you were to do it that way. Like someone else said ditch the late night carbs(2 pbj sandwitches) and trade it for some cottage cheese. You may want to ditch the 8 egg whites in that meal also. Maybe have just one nutragrain bar with a protein shake instead of 2 nutragrain bars. You could switch up the beef for tuna. just some of what i picked up from this board..
