Im 6'2 225lbs, starting 10 wk test cycle. Can you guys give me an example of your diet. I think im around 3500 cals a day, I probably need a few more. I need a clean diet for super bulking without gaining too much fat.

How many carbs should you eat on a bulk cycle? I thought if you don't burn the carbs they go to fat.

de novo lipogenesis is the term used when carbs are converted to fat. It actually happens at a pretty low rate (like 5% when 700g are consumed). You get fat mainly because your body will stop using fats for fuel and will instead burn the extra carbs, allowing the triglycerides to be stored. So if you keep the fat extremely low and the protein intake only moderate, you may not gain as much fat (from my perspective).

My uncle successfully consumed a ton of fat on a bulking cycle then cut it down to a perfect 6 pack in time to compete. If you have a great trainer by your side, just about anything is possible. I'm not sure I would do it that way personally... seems like it could be a big strain on your system. To each his own.

I have a really hard time putting on weight, and mainly fat. All my gains are pretty lean so I tend to focus on protein.
I know nothing about any of this insanity... it's just a fun game to me.
