  • fake or real name?

Is it better to have a fake or real name on packs sent to a po box internationally ? Ive heard the arguments about "well if they are going to get you they are going to get you" and "thats just one more charge (fraud) against you. And the other side "well it wasnt your name so the pack is not yours" whats the real deal with this guys?

If it is a post office ("real") PO box vs MBE; then there is a good chance they won't even deliver it to you since the name doesn't match what is on the box. (well, a chance anyway, depends on how anal they are at your PO, with an international package they may be more careful, and a fake name may be suspicious enough to get the pack searched)

From some stuff I've recently read, I'd say that unless you are able to open a box in a fake name (you'll need fake IDs), you should use your real name for first class mail going to a PO box. I wouldn't use fake IDs with the PO, but would with MBE, etc.

            I agree.
If its not the real owners name on the box the mail wont get delivered. It will be send back to sender.
            Also Initials are a nono.
The post office does not like those and many International sources would advise you not to use them.

I would suggest that you do not order anything internationally. Way too high of a risk. Here is what will happen if customs gets it. They will either destroy it and send you a letter of what is going on. They also call the local police and let them know. Or they will just send the package to the local police and have them deliver to your p/o box. The local police will let you pick it up and you are busted. Be safe, try not to use the mail at all.
