sex and clomid

im on my 8th day of clomid at 100 mg p/d first day was 300 mg. I thought clomid was supposed to put your system back in order im feeling nothing at all, cant even get a hard on most of the time, no sex drive whats so ever. any one else have this problem on clomid? any suggestions what be gratley appreciated. thanks

Give it time, but you should add HCG. Clomid should increase your sperm production. I don't know if this is true or not, but I have heard that porn stars take clomid to increase their spraying power if you know what I mean.

Yes add some HCG, 500-1000IU ED for 10 days, running the clomid concurrently.

The HCG will suppress your HPTA but after a few days that passes as your test level will drop, but your nuts will be fired up to produce test, and the clomid will get your HPTA back online

clomid, while very effective, is not a miracle drug. You went on cycle and stopped producing your own test because of all the added test. Now you are off and you have neither the added test nor your own (hence the lack of sex drive). The clomid is going to help, but it will take time to get the boys up and running and putting enough test into your system to have a sex drive. Until then - cialis will at least keep it up for you.

Everything I read about HCG would suggest you take it BEFORE you start Clomid therapy, not concurrently. I did 10,000 i.u. over a week or so right before I started Clomid, which I am now on day 4 with (my cycle ended a month ago). I am having zero libido problems, but my wife is like human Viagra anyways!! This has been my worst fear, though, that something would negatively effect my sex drive. I haven't missed a day with my wife since the end of April and I'd like to see how long we can extend that streak for. Somewhat surprisingly, she enjoyed this past cycle as much as I did! LOL.

Clomid is a female hormone, so it makes it a little harder to get aroussed. Personally I hate the stuff and am just gonna use nolva and hcg nextime. Maybe throw a little clomid in there, but that stuff makes me feel like such a ***** sometimes I really dont want to use it. As far as sex drive goes, for me I dont feel my test come back till a few weeks after clomid. You are only on day 8, think about when you roid, you dont feel it right away it takes time.

yea same here, post cycle/clomid and sex drive is LOWWWWWWWWWW.. lol. I can deal with it but thinking back to the start of this cycle and all i would do is have sex than jerk it a few more times per day, now its like nothing at all and no urge to do so but i feal it slowly coming back...

clomid is a bad time for almost everyone, so don't worry! And yes i think HCG would help!
