TweetICE IT AND LET IT REST
Tweettues I did a delt workout
wed i did a shot in my left delt with 25g 5/8" (200mg EQ + 250mg Test Ethanate .9CC total) at around 7pm
as far as the injects, I've been doing 2x a week and hitting left delt on WED, right delt on SUN for the past 5 weeks.. The gear never caused any pain before
I aspirated and injected but blood came out of the injection hole after I took the pin out.
the left delt started to feel a little funny but no pain..
10pm hit the gym and did a workout consisting of barbell rows, deadlifts, lat pulldown wide grip, seated low row, machine shrugs and reverse delt cable flys using a exercise ball...
during the low row my left delt kinda felt a lil weaker, but I kept on working...
when I got home, I was fine pretty much... about a hour later theres pain when I make any movements involving my left shoulder joint..
I was able to lift my hand over my head, but a few hours later, I couldnt do that without much pain, and today, I cant move it at all without pain..
I feel pain when I place pressure on the corner of the shoulder bone//
my right delt is perfectly fine
i cant even lift my arm right now
anyone have any ideas?

I get this pain.......deep - in the joint space.
My personal theory based on my own experience with it is that when you juice, you get stronger (and you end up working out harder etc) and your tendons (muscle to bone) and/or ligaments (bone to bone) get sore because they are not able to keep up with the pace of your muscle's endurance/added power.
So you end up with a deep, nagging, dull aching pain.
Is that what it feels like?
I don't know 100% sure, but that's my idea about it
TweetYup! Been there too! As a matter of fact I'm having problem with my other shoulder (R) too! Going to see a pain management Dr. next week. What I did to my left shoulder was 'prolotheapy'. It took me 1 & 1/2 years to figure that out. The Drs wanted to start cutting on me and I said 'no'. Found out about 'prolo' and 4 shots and 2 months later I was back in the gym! Do a search on it. Warning - the shots are painful but the results are worth it!
TweetI had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Did a shoulder workout at the gym and about two hours later couldn't really move my right arm that much. Went to the doc the next day, Friday, and he said tendonitis. No big deal, It was totally better by the next friday. But either way, listen to your body. My advice would be not to work out until the pain was gone. Like I said though, mine was better within one week.Originally posted by sailbo

TweetI've heard great things about using a shoulder horn to strengthen up your supplemental rotator cuff muscles. Helps fix the problems with overstraining underdeveloped supp muscles, can help yyou with your form after these muscles get stronger, and I've heard of guys whos bench went up considerably after using it because their muscles were stronger than the R cuff muscles were letting them be.
TweetThat said, I have no personal experience with a shoulder horn, but, they're only 50 bucks and I have been experiencing some problems with my left rotator cuff failing (esp when doing dumbell incline presses)
Tweetjust saw the docyesterday and he said it was... rheumarthritis / rheumatoid arthritis
my shoulder was feelin a bit funny a few days before it happened...
he said its not really from the exercise...
you think the inject on wed may have something to do with it then?
well the doc did some massaging of the area / heat / magnetic therapy
movement range isnt 100% but but better than before...
much less pain than before...
He said it would take around 10 days or so to get better... and I'm going back in tues for a followup treatment
