Chunks of rubber
TweetAs I draw from my bottle of fina with a 18 needle I get small chunks of the rubber stopper in my gear. I am goning to have to filter my gear again. Anyone else have this problem?

Tweeti had this one time but it was only one chunk
i just kept my i on it and eventually it ended up getting stuck
to the side of the bottle. if you have a lot then you might wanna
refilter. also dont use an 18g harpoon, i usually use a 23 or even a 25g and have no probs just push extra air in the bottle or heat it up some before you suck it out

TweetI had the exact same problem... i switched to drawing with a20 or 22 gague needle... I would definantly refilter.

TweetMine did the same thing. I kept my eye on it to make sure I didn't suck it up and as trap said, it got stuck to the bottle.

Tweetyeah one bottle has about 20 chunks in it. I had to switch to another bottle and now this one has 3 or 4 in it. As I pushed the 18g through the top I saw that it had a little chunk on the tip of it.

TweetI got a bunch of rubber chunks in my gear on my last cycle... pretty annoying. I tried not to get them in the syringe but some got into it a few times anyways. So i shot with them in it. I'm not sure if it got into my muscle or not but either way i had no irritation.

TweetYea you might want to refilter if theres that many chunks in it. But using a small pin say 23 or 25 would solve the problem because the rubber is to big to be drawn up with them.

Tweeti loaded a shot and it had a little piece in the gear i had no filter and i wasnt gonna try to get it out or waste the 3 ccs of test so i shot it with no probs. not smart but the risk may be overrated slightly. IMO
