TweetWhen I was bulking, I ran sprints 4x a week. You'd be surprise how lean sprints will keep you when bulking. Not to mention my legs got HUGE as well, and I didn't really change my leg routine from previous cycles.
TweetI do nada, unless you count sex every night. Thinking about starting some treadmill a few times a week for 30 minutes or so though.
TweetIf you are a hard gainer, I wouldn't do any while you are trying to put on mass. Its counter productive.
I don't have too much trouble gaining mass, I have a harder time getting lean. I don't do more than 15min/day while bulking and watch my diet. I eat well, but keep it as clean as I can.
I do 30 min/day while dieting.
Some people just feel better doing cardio while on... it can help with blood pressure and generally feels good.
TweetI think it depends on your bodytype.
Ectomorph - none.
Mesomorph - some, if you want to lean out.
Endomorph - daily.
JMO.
TweetThe shin splints fuck me up too. There is also a thing called compartmental syndrome. The fascia (connective tissue holding muscles down) in the lower leg is really tough. So when you experience fast muscle growth or exteme pumps, the muscles swell but there is nowhere for them to expand because the fascia is holding everything down. This can lead to damage to the tibial or deep fibular nerve as well as constiction of blood vessels. So remember that if you're getting "painful pumps" take easy a little bit. Once you damage a nerve there is no going back.
Tweetmy body is naturally lean, so i don't need cardio, but I think it's good to do 3 times a week around 15-20 minutes. I feel better, get the blood pumping around. plus, if there's some hotty in front of me, you can believe it that I'll be doing some cardio....
TweetI do interval walking for 15-20 minutes 4 x a week. Not for fat burning per se, but to help with nutrient repartitioning, and cardiovascular health. I warm up for 2 minutes, then switch between 1 minute at 3.0 mph, and 1 mintue at 4.5-5.0 mph.
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul
TweetSounds like my very situation. I currently have soreness in my right calve, just below it. If I walk more than a block I get a massive pump in BOTH my calves.Originally posted by j8k

Now that I have this pain in my calve, how do I get rid of it? Massage? Hot bath?
Help!
