GYNO...... Continue Nolva after Clomid ??

I ran Prop and Fina. I started to notice puffy nipples and a small bump right as I started Clomid. So I ran Nolvadex during clomid therapy. My clomid ended 3 days ago and so far everything has stayed the same, the lump is actually slightly more sensitive. I bumped the Nolvadex back up to 40mg ED, but i only have about 15/20mg tabs left.

Questions

1. Was the clomid a contributing factor to the gyno, and now that i have stopped it and continued nolva, should the problems subside??

2. Also, since I am running low on nolvadex, should I grab another round and run it for an extra month on its own, or is it already a lost cause?

3. Would it make a difference if i grab the liquid nolva from one of our sponsors (its less of a hassel this way) or should i go with my source and get the tabs??

TweetI would continue with the nolva, maybe bump it up a bit...if the problem keeps coming, go see the Dr....I think once you up the dose and give it some time, you will be fine

TweetI think rado is right...I was told to run 40mg ed with mine and it didn't help...so I went to 60 and finally 80mg ed and it works for me. FYI that is while I am on. I run 60mg post cycle for 3 weeks along with clomid @ 50mg ed. Hope this helps and good luck bro.

Tweetwow 80ED thats seems pretty damm high... im running short on tabs and waiting for a new shipment of liquid... im gonna run it at 40 for like 2 more days then i have to drop it back to 20 just to make sure i have some till my shipment comes in.

1. I doubt that clomid was a contributing factor. As a member of the SERM class of drugs, it would be expected to function as an antiestrogen in breast tissue. It just hasn't been long enough. Keep running the nolva and it will probably eventually resolve itself.

2. Definately get some more nolva. I would get enough to run at least 3 or 4 months. Voice of experience here; it may take that long.

3. No functional difference; tamoxifin is tamoxifin. I prefer the tabs myself just out of convenience but it shouldn't make a difference in effectiveness or anything. Just be sure to shake the bottle well before each use since it is a suspension and not a homogeneous solution.

TweetThanks for the thorough response..... Ill keep running the nolva at about 40 a day and bump it up if necessary.... Ill keep buying it on a month to month basis though and hope it will go away sooner rather than later...

Looks like ill be running non aromatizing gear from here on out.... sucks because I love tren, but not sure i should run that without test.

Yeah, I don't know. I don't seem to get much from test except acne but I love fina. I think my next cycle may just be a fina cycle but maybe with a LOW dose of test like 100 mg ew test cyp or something just to keep up the labido. I might skip the test alltogether and take proviron for the labido.

As far as the nolva, I know you are trying to save money by only getting what you need but you may end up spending more just on shipping. I get a box of 28 nolva's (20 mg) for 10 bucks and shipping is another 6 bucks. If I bought one box three times it would cost me a total of $48 with $18 of that just being shipping. On the other hand, if I bought three boxes once, that would only cost me $36. Just a thought.

I respectfully disagree. Estrogen is absolutely necessary for the maturation of beast tissue. You could shoot yourself full of progesterone but if there is no estrogen around, gyno won't happen. As I understand it, there are 3 or 4 hormones that all work together to cause breast tissue to mature and differentiate: estrogen, progesterone, prolactin and I think IGF-1 (not sure about that one). All of these hormones must be present for gyno to happen. Knock one of those out and breast tissue simply can't mature and develop. Nolva will block the estrogen receptors in the breast and keep estrogen from binding. No binding, no influence. No estrogen influence, no gyno.

Bromo is a much harsher drug that really isn't needed 99% of the time. The only time a prolactin suppressive drug would be needed is if one had naturally high levels of prolactin where otherwise normal hormone levels were causing gyno or lactation (not necessarily the same thing). This is called hyperprolactemia and is treatable with only two drugs that are FDA approved for that purpose, bromocriptin and dostinex. If you didn't have a case of gyno before you started AS and thus your problem is caused by fluctuating hormone levels associated with AS use,a prolactin suppressor really isn't needed when you can get as effective results using a less harsh estrogen blocker like nolva. Even when a prolactin suppressive drug is called for, cabergolin (dostinex) is much more efficient and better tolerated with fewer sides.

Tweetim pretty sure the gyno was caused by the test and not the fina... it was my second time running fina, but only my first on test.... I had no problems with the the fina alone.....

TweetThe same thing happened to me on a tren/prop cycle only I got a little gyno about 1 month after. I think it could be the test and tren combo. I have heard many people say that they did not get any bad sides from test or fina alone, but put together they got gyno.
