TweetNot to worry you, but shortness of breath like you described can be a symptom of heart problems. I would definetly get it checked out by your doctor asap.
TweetHello,
I'm currently trying to add some weight. I was in a bodybuilding contest in October and right after the contest went from 250 at show time to 265 within a couple of weeks. Most of this was just coming back to reasonable eating.
Since that time, I have added 20 pounds to be 285. I just started using 1-test and 4-AD last week and am looking to add some more weight.
My question is that recently I have noticed that I am breathless quite a bit. Not out of shape breathless, but catching my breath when I stand up and speak (my job includes quite a bit of public speaking).
Anyone had any experience with this? It is a bit disconcerting to say the least.
I'm eating at least 6000 calories a day and my stomach is getting distended so I wonder if it is pressing on my lungs? Well, that is my hair brained theory anyway. Or is it in anyway related to the 1-test?
Theories are appreciated.
Thanks,
Jorta

TweetThanks for the tip! I actually heard the same from a couple of other people. I did call the doctor and they knew that I had had some surgery in the last couple of weeks.Originally posted by StoneColdNTO

They were *very* interested in me getting to them ASAP. It turns out that they thought I might have a pulmonary embolism (no idea if that is spelled right) - or a blood clot from the surgery blocking part of my heart.
Turns out I didn't have that, but your advice was spot on. Thanks for the time.
